Stanley Hall Studios was originally set up as a rehearsal room with basic recording facilities for demos and other small projects. Over time, the recording facilities and room acoustics have been upgraded to a point where it is possible to produce recordings of commercial quality.

The main studio is 36' by 15' and has a high vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams. There are two further recording rooms which can be used for isolating individual instruments and vocalists. The control room is incorporated within the main studio.

Most of our projects are recorded through our Tac Matchless analogue mixing console into a computer running Cakewalk Sonar software. This setup allows us to record 26 simultaneous tracks with multiple headphone mixes for the musicians.

Dependent on the requirements of the specific project, we can either mix through our mixing console using our extensive range of high quality analogue and digital hardware processors, or within the computer using a variety of high quality software plug-ins.
